It's a clock and it JUST fitted in the back of the car
It's huge...but there is one thing.
It doesn't work
But I knew that when I bought it... there were lots of them and the retailer said they couldn't guarantee they'd work, that's why they were so cheap.
I have other plans for it and with MONT's help, it's going to be transformed.
Oh...how much did I -pay for it?
$20
Yep, that's all
What do you think?

Oh, I like!
ReplyDeleteCould you just get a new clock mechanism to make it work? I think they are reasonably cheap (under $20) from Bunnings.
Otherwise, it would look cool on a wall, even if it didn't tell the time. I fell in love with an oversized clock in Target a few months back, and decided to wait for a sale. Come sale time it's gone! That will learn me!!!
April, I thought of a new mechanism, but I'm not sure we have a wall that is really big enough for this monster...
DeleteYes, big bargain! I will be interested to see your plans for it, but I also like April's idea for getting a replacement mechanism - worth it for that price.
ReplyDelete:)
Sarah if it turns out Ok it will look fab! The lady i purchased it from said some of the people who'd bought one were turning it into a coffee table
DeleteWow, it's huge!... and lovely! I'm intrigued as to your plans for it :)
ReplyDeleteYup, it's massive Amanda...pity I don't have a wall that's big enough for it
DeleteI've replaced clock works before. I bet you can fix it.
ReplyDeleteTeresa, I thought of a new mechanism, but don't they come complete with new hands as well?
DeleteI may have to investigate
I'm intrigued to see what you are going to do with the clock. It certainly is a monster - but a very attractive one :)
ReplyDeleteOOoooh I love it and I can't wait to see what you do with it :O) I haven't visited for SO LONG. Must get a cuppa and I can catch up on what I've been missing. Michelle x
ReplyDeleteOk so where is this little (I mean big) beauty from? It would def work with new mechanism..... I found your blog whilst googling Albi imports funnily enough which I have just posted about on my new blog. Love to meet a fellow Melbourne blogger who loves a bargain
ReplyDeleteWhat a great buy for $20! Can't wait to see what you do with it xx
