This is like a strawberry shortcake, but I didn't have strawberries it being Winter and all...so I used some jarred cherries I had...it was delish! Really delish!

Oh yum! I've never made a cherry cake or a strawberry shortcake, though I was a fan of Strawberry Shortcake when I was a young girl :)
