I had to say goodbye to my old girl at the weekend.
She'd been with me for years... I found her early one morning in 1991 on the way to work and she couldn't jump into my car quick enough. She was a lovely girl and very tolerant, even when I brought other cats and dogs into her life
She travelled around the country with me...in fact my friends used to joke that she had more frequent flyer points than me
I miss her. A lot.
Oh you poor thing. Losing a pet is such a sad thing. Hugs x

ReplyDeleteIt is sad losing a pet. I feel sad for me because I can't give her a cuddle, but not sad for her because she's no longer feeling like crap. Doesn't stop me missing her though.....she was the last of my girls. It feels strange because it's the first time since the 1980's I haven't had a cat. Might have to remedy that next year I think
