BREAK OUT THE CHAMPAGNE !!

Remember the tiny front bedroom at Number 3?

It looked like this...

...and this.

Well, it now looks like ... this
... and this

The carpet looks terrific but didn't photograph too well. The curtains are just those continuous things that I hemmed down the sides, and I bought new blinds to go in there .
So, the small bedroom at Number 3 is FINISHED...as are a couple of other rooms.
More tomorrow. It's been a big day and I need a drink.

  1. Well Lesley it looks beautiful....and I'm sure as soon as Teresa sees it she'll be packing her bags! Is it to be a rental or are you keeping it for those special times away....those change of pace times often wished for but hardly ever realised.....well done!

  2. I've realized for some time that I need a life, but I am so excited about this redo. Sooo beautiful, Lesley. I know that you are happy to see your hard work come to fruition. I'm wondering, when it is all finished, what will I have to look forward too? :) It's so beautiful and warm looking. Oh and I love love those curtains.

WD is right, I'm itching to come see and stay a month or two and... I would stop by and pick up WD and then meet you at 3 to visit awhile.

It's 5:50 a.m. here, I need to go get my coffee now.

  4. Thank you all. It's been a bit of a journey hasn't it? A very worthwhile one though. But I have to admit, I'm so glad it's over! ...and so is MONT.

Teresa, it would be lovely if you could pay a visit and pick up WD on the way. Now that would be fun!

While it would be nice to be able to use it for weekends away etc, it's not really practical, so it will be rented out. It's now up to the Real Estate Agent to find someone very special to call Number 3 home.

I hope he finds them soon.
